Butwal Kalika Campus is pleased to announce the 1st National Conference on “Bridging Knowledge and Practice: Management and Social Sciences for Sustainable Localization” which invites various scholars, researchers, research practitioners to discuss several issues of research based on the relationship between university education, sustainability and localization. This conference is passionately waiting for the research papers, reviews, case studies, conceptual papers to be presented in this signature event. Similarly, this conference seeks to connect the diverse issues of management and social sciences into sustainable and local practices and how both these domains support addressing current challenges. Today, educators, students, policymakers and campuses experience the interlude between classroom practices and real-life situations. Keeping this in mind, this conference aims to bridge the vent that exists in academia. The major spirit of the conference is to be aligned with buzzwords and burning topics that are omnipresent everywhere like in education, industry, governance, environment, economics etc.

We invite and welcome papers that address aforementioned topics within the dimension of management and social sciences connecting the direction of sustainability and localization, including but not limited to: 

Please, all scholars, researchers, policy makers, educators, research practitioners are kindly requested to submit their original papers not published anywhere. These papers should strictly follow the guidelines of APA seventh edition publication. All the accepted papers will later be published only after going through both plagiarism and AI detection process in Kalika Journal of Multidisciplinary Research. 

Registration-

There is no registration fee for the presenters who are going to present the papers in the conference; however in case of participants who are away from the conference venue and in problem of coming and attending the conference will get the facility of accommodation. The registration fee for them is 2500 (Participants) rupees only.

Kalika Journal of Multidisciplinary Research Guidelines for Authors 

We, the editorial body of the Kalika Journal of Multidisciplinary Research, welcome the researchers to submit the manuscript that is not published anywhere else incorporating the rules of plagiarism and AI detection. Those who are interested in presenting the paper in the First National Conference and want their papers to be published in this Nepjol registered journal should embrace the following guidelines. 

Peer Review

This is a double blind peer reviewed journal where the submissions are thoroughly appraised by the team of experts, and authors will be given constructive suggestions and critical comments for further submissions. Authors are expected to address the critical comments and suggestions to re-submit it for further process. Here reviewers are given a separate document with different topics where comments are to be adjusted. On the basis of this format, comments from the reviewers are welcome, and they are sent to the respective authors. This process neither reveals the name of the authors to reviewers and vice-versa.  

 Copyright

The submissions should be original and intellectual property of authors. If authors are ready for publication, it will only be going for further process. Before the submission process, the paper will go through the plagiarism and AI detection procedures. If these procedures succeed, these papers are ready for publication. 

Language

We only accept manuscripts written in English. Authors can use only the British version of English. Besides it, manuscripts are expected to be free from grammatical, spellings and punctuation errors. 

Length of the paper

The length of the paper is 3000 -5000 words excluding the words used in the references or bibliography.  The font size in the paper is 12 and Times New Roman.

Bio-note of the Author

For the information of the author, a short bio-note including the name, photo, designation, affiliation, areas of interest should be mentioned. 

Abstract

The abstract of the paper is no more than 250 words. As it is the synopsis of a research paper, it must include the objective/purpose of the research, methodology used, results and implication. 

 Keywords

The number of words used in the keywords is 5 which illustrates the main themes and ideas of your study. 

References

This Journal accepts the research papers in APA seventh edition; therefore, authors are kindly requested to arrange the References accordingly. The Editorial body highly recommends the authors to use either Endnote, or Mendeley, Zotero and any other tools to manage citation and references. The use of these tools are highly praiseworthy.  

Submission Format

The manuscript is strictly adhering to the guidelines of APA seventh edition. The brief note for guidelines are presented here

  • 12 font size in Times New Roman
  • Although spacing in APA is double, but this manuscript customizes it in1.5 
  • Each paragraph starts with 0.5 inch indentation 
  • A4 size paper 
  • Margin 1.5 inch in the left; however, 1 inch in all sides right, top and bottom
  •  Page number in right top of each paper 
  • In terms of Block quotation, Block quotes should start on a new line and indent the block about ½ inch from the left margin
  • Table formation must be aligned with APA seventh edition

 General Format 

The manuscript should have the following components.

i. Introduction 

The first part of the manuscript must include the background of the titles, purpose of the research, research questions, significance of the study, and  research gap. 

ii. Literature Review- 

This section includes an extensive review of literature that is mainly concerned with the topic that a researcher intends to carry out. This section includes empirical, theoretical and thematic review including  conceptual framework (if necessary) that must be aligned with the research topic. 

iii. Methodology

This section includes the research design including the methodology, data collection tools, sampling, population, research site, and ethical consideration etc. In case of secondary data and other papers where few of the segments could be excluded are not mandatory in this section. 

iv. Data Analysis/Interpretation/ and Findings, Discussion

This section includes the procedures of data analysis, interpretation along with the findings retrieved from this procedure. In addition to this, researchers also include the discussion section alignment with findings or results.

v.Conclusion and Implication 

This section includes the entire synopsis of the research which a researcher brings out from the total study. Moreover, a researcher also includes the implication about further research.
